This beard balm brush was specifically designed to work with beard balm tins as well as traditional beard oils. The base of the brush is made of wood and the bristles are boar hair.

The bristles penetrate through most beards to provide a gentle massage, while ensuring that the oils or balm cover the hairs completely.

Gently twist your beard brush on top of your balm about a quarter turn or so. If you are using a traditional beard oil, add to the center of the brush. Suitable for all hair types. Start on one side of the beard and brush the balm down into the beard from the sideburns. Move to the middle of the beard and then work through to the other side of your face.

Over time, the wood will absorb the oils you use and may even show through on the top side. This is to be expected and is not harmful.
The natural boar hair bristles will fall out from time to time and can be removed with a deft hand or pair of tweezers. This is a normal part of owning a natural hair brush.
